Company History
Plan B was co-founded in 1992 by Eve Howse and Jean Duval and became a successful Partnership Marketing agency with business bases in Europe and North America. The business sector focus was on international travel and entertainment, working with such blue chip brands as Hilton International, Lufthansa German Airlines, American Express, MasterCard, Sony, HP and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
For more than a decade, Plan B delivered turnkey, innovative and result-driven partnered marketing programs across multiple partners, multiple countries and multiple languages.
In 2002, with the shift to online for many of its clients, Plan B’s business development strategy evolved towards the provision of technology solutions for membership groups. As a result, Plan B focused on the development of a comprehensive software system that would essentially automate partnership marketing and take it digital.
In 2005, Plan B launched the first version of its proprietary technology platform, XRSystem, with its first membership community, AirMiles, the UK’s most successful travel loyalty program.
Plan B Digital now provides digital loyalty solutions to financial services companies, major retailers and loyalty program operators in several European countries and in North America.
Rooted in partnered marketing, XRSystem connects customers and merchants in a real-time, transactional environment, creating new benefits for customers and incremental sales for merchants.
